Today (5 March) marks the 115th birthday of Mr. Momofuku Ando, the father of instant noodles and founder of Nissin Foods! To honour this legendary innovator who revolutionised global food culture, the CUPNOODLES MUSEUM Hong Kong (the "Museum") is launching three special activities this March. This includes the launch of a brand-new photo spot and two special commemorative sets featuring Mr. Momofuku Ando’s great inventions in March. Every Friday, Nissin Friday BUY & TRY will also feature exclusive offers on Cup Noodles and Nissin Chicken Ramen. Adding to the excitement, starting 9 March, the Museum is introducing a limited-time Buy-1-Get-1-Free ticket promotion for two designated workshops, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the creative journey behind instant noodle innovation.

The Museum’s brand-new birthday offer, launched in 2025, has already been a huge hit. In celebration of Mr. Momofuku Ando’s 115th birth anniversary, from 5 March onwards, the birthday offer will also be available for online ticket purchases, making it even easier to plan the perfect birthday party in advance.

Debut of Two Commemorative Invention Sets

Mr. Momofuku Ando dedicated his life to reimagining food with creativity and innovation. Throughout his years, he embraced creative thinking and never gave up until his vision became reality. From inventing the world's first instant noodles, Chicken Ramen, in 1958, to revolutionising the industry with Cup Noodles in 1971, and even taking instant noodles to space with Space Ram in 2005, Mr. Ando’s relentless pursuit of innovation changed the way people eat worldwide.

From now until 31 March, two exclusive combo sets, the "Hiyoko-chan Combo" and "Cup Noodles Classic Combo”, are introduced to honour Mr. Momofuku Ando's lifelong contributions to food. These sets include not only the signature Nissin Chicken Ramen Instant Noodle and Cup Noodles, but also various exquisite items like Hiyoko-chan bowls and sticky notes, Cup Noodles-themed shoe charms, and stylish stationery — practical, fun, and perfect for collectors!
